CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — California Highway Patrol is investigating the death Saturday of a woman in a solo-vehicle accident on State Highway 4 north of Concord in Contra Costa County, her car having sustained bullet-hole damage on the driver's side, the CHP said.

Authorities identified the deceased woman as Destinee Shaharisha-Jenae Hillery, 25, of Antioch.

The preliminary investigation was of a "suspicious death," said CHP Officer Hannah Wolcott.

The accident was first reported at about 2:25 p.m. Saturday, when an eastbound silver Honda Accord veered first into the center divider and then across all eastbound lanes onto the Willow Pass Road exit offramp.

CHP investigators remained at the scene at 9 p.m. Saturday. By then, all four lanes of eastbound Highway 4 were open; anywhere from one to all four eastbound lanes had been closed at various points Saturday as the investigation unfolded. The eastbound Willow Pass Road off-ramp itself
remained closed late into Saturday night.

It is sites like this that provide an excellent resource of information that helped me create back strong enough to point in the direction of Philip Anschutz to the connection of the murder of one of my Witnesses.

one of my very minor Witnesses is actually Kobe Bryant, another is the Scherer murders in Pleasanton California who played World Poker which is Kobe's sponsorship and another is the Downing of 911 building 7 specifically which leads to Bennett vs Southern Pacific where are amazingly I actually sued the predecessors of Enron.

the witness in my case was murdered the witness murder was covered up by Contra Costa District Attorney's office the old office not the new one everything under Contra Costa da Diana becton is a clean slate.

this beautiful young girl what's the daughter of a friend blamed in a murder-suicide.

We had a picnic planned in June of 2005 she never called back for the date she never answered my calls and then 9 years later I found out what happened.

If you want to make some waves call the Sonoma County District Attorney's office and tell him that you're puzzled by what I've just shown you.

Contra Costa Superior Court

Contra Costa County Superior Court

The origins of many cases in Contra Costa lead to Cities, County and Municipalities with ties to former District Attorney Mark Peterson.
The personal drama in Contra Costa Superior for Pete Bennett reeks of corruption to the core of the legal community failures covering a broad spectrum of incidents.

Mr. Bennett endured substantial losses in nearly every cases he's been through.  After decades of losses he noticed his customers, witnesses and public officials were dead.

He shared that with Mark Peterson, about 50 witnesses and was promptly evicted from his offices owned by Jerry Overaa of Overaa Construction who coincidently went on to take over projects at Contra Costa College District after operatives corrupted by Southern Pacific destroyed his business.

My story is about witness murders, private equity, mergers and acquisitions linked back to the Matter of Bennett v. Southern Pacific lost in 1989.  It was a winnable case as long the witnesses testified.

OBIT" Danville: Married couple found shot to death in home near Crow Canyon Country Club

Danville: Married couple found shot to death in home near Crow Canyon Country Club

Updated:   07/06/2015 07:42:32 PM PDT

DANVILLE -- Police are investigating the deaths of a married couple inside their home Monday morning, saying the shootings were a murder-suicide.
Around 7:40 a.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 700 block of Glen Eagle Court near Crow Canyon Country Club, Danville police Chief Steve Simpkins said.
"When our officers were on scene, they went to the door and heard what they believe was a gunshot," Simpkins said. "They backed away from the door and waited until it was safe for them to make entry."
When officers entered the home, they found Edward Perry, 77, dead from a gunshot wound, Simpkins said.
Officers searched the home and found his 67-year-old wife, Patricia Perry, in the kitchen, also dead from two gunshot wounds, he said.
No one else was home when the shootings occurred, Simpkins said. The home was locked and it didn't appear that anyone forced their way into the home, which leads police to believe that this incident was a murder-suicide.
This was the first murder in Danville since 2009, Simpkins said.
Details of the factors leading to the shootings were unavailable, he said. The department is also reviewing a report of officers being called out to the Perry residence in 2011 for a domestic disturbance report, where no arrests were made.
Simpkins called the shooting "a tragedy." "Our hearts go out to all the involved families and the city employees to our neighbors of the south," he said.

Patricia "Pat" Perry was a longtime city employee in San Ramon, said Assistant City Manager Eric Figueroa. She started her career with the city in July 1989 as the city clerk and redevelopment secretary. She retired as a division manager in 2011.

"She was certainly more than an employee to the people of San Ramon," Figueroa said. "(She was) a real treasured person to have, and we're heartbroken by what's happened today; still in shock."
After retirement, Patricia Perry contracted with the city as a special project consultant for four years, where she served several roles for the city manager and executive team, Figueroa said.
Patricia Perry was "known as the 'goddess of all' in our community because she could really do anything at the city of San Ramon," he said. She showed Figueroa the ropes of the city when he started his job last September.
"I think what I appreciate the most about Pat was her kindness to me, and it really showed why everybody really loved her so much; it's because of her heart and her passion, and just her real connection to the people there," he said. "She was just a joy to work with on the regular basis and I couldn't think of anybody better to introduce me to the city of San Ramon."

The Public Lawyers

Council of Chiefs A Collection of Chiefs of Police entrusted to manage and oversee activities of Commander Norman Wielsch.  Somehow they've managed to kill plenty of suspects and non-suspects with 100% impunity.

SWAT A group of officers operated under the guise the Contra Costa County Law Enforcement Teams.  The sad truth Timothy Mitchell was shot and killed by associates of Wielsch.  They broke down the door and shot Mitchell
dead then realized they had targeted a suspect living hundreds of miles away.

Drug Enforcement Roles

The Contra Costa County Narcotics Enforcement Team
Made up of police officers from local departments, including Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Danville, Pleasant Hill, Martinez and Clayton and the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office. The county Probation Department and the district attorney’s
office have representatives on the council. The task force targets mid- to high-level drug dealers in central Contra Costa.  Members are trained by the Justice Department, work undercover and are available to agencies 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.

The Public Lawyers

To many that have seen their near terrorist tactics are known all over Contra Costa County for their often brutal and bruising tactics. In 2009 Timothy Mitchell was shot to death during a warrant search that appears to another botched
SWAT investigation. To some they are taking out a drug dealer (perceived) but to others they are taking a mother son who had a problem. If you want answers to why there so are so many shootings you might to see this as the battlefield
where tactical teams pursue enemy combatants where tactical wins and losses are deemed acceptable. With the scandals reach into the divorce court you migh wonder if the tactical operations were used to glean unsuspecting divorcees of their
assets with unscrupulous divorce attorneys.

Mixing Attorneys with cops - a brutal cocktail

They can fleece their clients very easily in fee disputes as the so-called independent arbitrator actually a long time peer of the attorneys in the room. They go through the motions during often the result is the same - pay up the attorney
that screwed you.

Jeff Adachi

Former Public Defender for the City of San Francisco

Jeff Adachi

August 29, 1959 - February 22, 2019

Jeff Adachi, a tireless advocate for equal justice, passed away suddenly on Feb. 22, 2019 at 59 years old. He was the elected public defender of San Francisco, a filmmaker and author, and a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Jeff was born Aug. 29, 1959. His parents and grandparents were among the nearly 120,000 Japanese Americans forced into internment camps during World War II. Learning of their ordeal would cement Jeff's lifelong commitment to due process and the right to counsel.
Jeff's advocacy for the accused bloomed as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley after joining a student movement to free Chol Soo Lee, a Korean immigrant wrongly convicted of murder. Jeff earned his bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in 1981 and his Juris Doctor from UC Hastings in 1985. He was hired as a deputy public defender at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office in 1986 and served as the office's chief attorney from 1998 to 2001.
He was elected Public Defender of the City and County of San Francisco in 2002 and took office on Jan. 8, 2003 following two years in private practice. Under his strong leadership and fierce advocacy, the San Francisco Public Defender's Office became a national model of holistic defense. Jeff battled on the steps of City Hall for adequate funding, in Sacramento for laws favoring treatment over incarceration, and in court for the clients he personally represented. He tried more than 150 jury trials and handled more than 3,000 criminal matters in his career, including some of the Bay Area's highest profile cases. Today, more than 23,000 people each year rely on the office and the innovative services Jeff instituted. These programs include in-house social workers; expungement and reentry programs; and literacy, health and recreation opportunities for low-income youth. Specialized teams of attorneys devote their expertise to juvenile defense, education advocacy, immigration, mental health, bail, and pretrial release.
Jeff was an advocate for racial justice and a watchdog against police and prosecutorial misconduct. Surveillance footage he turned over to the press and public led to federal investigations and criminal convictions against law enforcement officers who brutalized or stole from citizens, conducted warrantless searches, or fabricated evidence.
He served on the board of numerous professional organizations over his career, including the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants, the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association for Public Defense, and the California Public Defenders Association. He is the co-author of Chapter 25: Immunity for Testimony, in California Criminal Law Procedure and Practice. He was a BAR/BRI bar review professor for more than two decades and published five books on passing the bar exam. He recently completed two additional manuscripts—his autobiography and a biography of San Francisco's first public defender, Frank Egan, who would later be convicted of murder.
Jeff garnered numerous local, state and national awards for outstanding public service, managerial excellence, prisoner reentry, youth advocacy, and transparency.
Jeff was an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He wrote, produced and directed The Slanted Screen, a 2006 film that explored stereotypes of Asian men in American cinema. In 2009, he directed You Don't Know Jack: The Jack Soo Story and in 2016 made the short film America Needs a Racial Facial. His 2017 film, Defender, focused on his defense of a young black man following a racially charged encounter with police and followed the work of the office's fledgling immigration unit. Ricochet, to be released later this year, chronicles the tragic death of Kate Steinle and the trial of the immigrant accused of her murder. In addition to his own creative projects, Jeff provided opportunities to other artists through his work with California Humanities the Center for Asian American Media.
He is survived by Mutsuko "Muki" Adachi, his wife of 21 years; his daughter Lauren Adachi, a freshman at Brown University in Providence; his parents Sam and Gladys Adachi of Sacramento; and his brother Stan Adachi of Long Beach. He is also remembered by thousands of legal professionals across the country who benefitted from his mentorship, encouragement, and training and who will continue his legacy in the fight for justice.
A public memorial will be held Monday, March 4 at 11 a.m. at San Francisco City Hall. The family desires that a fellowship in Jeff's name be created to aid deserving young law students and lawyers. In lieu of flowers, a tax-deductible donation payable to "AABA Law Foundation – Adachi" may be mailed to Prather Law Offices, 245 Fifth Street, Suite 103, San Francisco, CA 94103. Donations in Jeff's name may also be made to gofundme.com/jeff-adachi-legacy-fund.

OBIT: Marie Coon

The Untimely Suicide of Marie Coon

MARIE WAS THE NORDSTROMS TAILOR WHO
TAILORED SUITS FOR
PETE BENNETT
WHOSE SUITS WERE LOST
WHEN HIS DRY CLEANER COMMITTED SUICIDE

WALNUT CREEK — Marie Coon is an Iraq war casualty. But not in the traditional sense.
Her stepson’s fatal injuries from a sniper attack in Iraq in 2007 ended up causing two deaths — his and hers.
“She was having a hard time dealing with Jimmy’s death,” her husband, Jim Coon said Friday. “She just kept saying how she missed Jimmy.”
On Mother’s Day — after struggling for more than two years to cope with the loss of the young man she loved as her son — Marie committed suicide by locking herself in the cab of a pickup truck at Lake Arrowhead with portable lighted barbecues and a pail of burning coals. She left a note, saying she wanted to be with Jimmy. She was 48.

sssss
“I’m just walking around pretty much in a daze,” said Jim, 51, who moved with his wife about a year ago from Walnut Creek to Paradise in Northern California. “I’m hoping that she’s in heaven. I’m hoping she’s with Jimmy. If she’s not, I hope she’s having a great life wherever she is. I never wanted to see her get hurt.”
Jim said he planned to attend Walnut Creek’s Memorial Day service Monday with his daughter and brother, to honor his son Army Pfc. James Coon and Cpl. Sean Langevin. Both were Walnut Creek soldiers who died in Middle East conflicts.
James, whom his parents called “Jimmy,” was a 22-year-old Las Lomas High graduate who died April 4, 2007, in Iraq. Langevin was a 23-year-old graduate of Ygnacio Valley High who died on patrol in Afghanistan on Nov. 9, 2007.
In the months after James’ death, Marie talked candidly to the Times on several occasions, expressing the highs and lows she felt as she tried to cope with her gaping loss. She was fiercely proud of her son and gratefully elated for the community recognition he received.
This included a public funeral in Civic Park, a memorial plaque at City Hall, a cross on the hillside in Lafayette, an engraved brick at the All Wars Memorial in Danville, a special teams football award in his name at Diablo Valley College, where he played, and the retiring of his No. 90 high school football jersey at Las Lomas. At the other end of the spectrum, though, Marie grappled daily with overwhelming grief.
“I just start to cry for no reason,” she said in the fall of 2007. “My husband calls them ‘the moments.’ He’ll say, ‘Are you having a moment?’ I’ll just say, ‘Yeah,’ and he’ll know what it’s about. I’ve had days where I’ve been reduced to tears only once. But other days, it’s been all day long.”
She joined the ranks of Gold Star Moms when Jimmy died — a sisterhood of mothers who have lost their children in the military. The women supported each other, talking about their grief.
“It doesn’t go in any smooth order where it gets easier,” Marie said tearfully. “All of a sudden, you have a day that’s worse than it was three months ago. You can’t even anticipate what will set you off.”
She smiled as she reminisced about the happiness Jimmy brought into her life, when he was in sixth grade and she was dating his father.
Jimmy’s biological mother died when he was 9 years old, eight years after his parents divorced.
Marie married his father a year later and cherished her role as Jimmy’s mother — watching him grow up, cheering him on at football games and talking to him about the joys and sorrows in his life.
“I just want to see him,” she said longingly. “I just want to talk to him about anything.”
She refused to bury Jimmy, because she didn’t want to leave him behind if she moved away. Jimmy was cremated and the family spread his ashes at Lake Tahoe, after Marie visited clairvoyant Lisa Williams. Marie believed Jimmy told her through the medium that he wanted the lake to be his final resting place. The couple’s marriage deteriorated and Jim said Marie left him in March, after they tried counseling. He filed for divorce, but it was never finalized.
“I think she just pretty much fell out of love for me,” Jim said. “She didn’t have a purpose in life any more. She really loved Jimmy.”
Jim plans to spread Marie’s ashes in Lake Tahoe.
“I’m going to do the same thing as I did with Jimmy,” he said, “so she could be with him.”
Marie’s note said she did not want a memorial service. But, a makeshift memorial has appeared among the crosses in Lafayette.
“RIP Marie Coons,” it says. “Jimmy’s Mother. Died from a broken heart by her own hand.”
Representatives of military family support groups contacted by the Times said they had never heard of a parent committing suicide after the death of a child in war. Yet, Marie’s decision to take her life is a tragic reminder that such a loss creates an emotional ripple effect in the families of soldiers who are killed, leaving wounds that sometimes never heal.
