When I was in the Martinez Death Facility I was placed with the Rossmoor Arsonist. He was medicated to the point he was so numb in the head he'd sleep all day.
I overheard the guards say he'll never get out and of course his attorney has power of attorney over an estate with no descendants.
A fire Saturday night at the Rossmoor adult community in Walnut Creek killed one resident and forced the evacuation of three other apartments, fire officials said.
The two-alarm blaze at Rossmoor, a community of 9,900 residents over age 55, was contained to one unit, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. The name of the victim was not released. Inspectors are investigating the source of the fire.
The Rossmoor village has apartments, condos and single family homes in an 1,800 acre community, according to its website.
